Clary Sage

The main chemical component of Clary Sage is linalyl acetate, part of the esters group, making it one of the most relaxing, soothing, and balancing essential oils available.

It was used in the Middle Ages for its benefits to the skin and has continued to be popular for its topical benefits, again balancing any skin irritations.

A few ways to use Clary Sage:

Combine with a carrier oil to massage, soothe or rejuvenate skin.

Mix a few drops with some epsom salts and add to a soothing bath during your menstrual cycle.

Add a few drops to your shampoo or conditioner to support any scalp imbalances.

Clary Sage is known to have oestrogen action on the reproductive system, therefore it is not recommended for use in pregnant women under 40 weeks. However, apply over the abdomen to induce contractions and ease pain during labour.

CAUTIONS: Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. Consult your doctor if pregnant or in treatment. Avoid eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas.
